3 Things You MUST Do When You Get Up At 5am
So, you want to become an early riser. You've heard the ultimate key to the life of your dreams is to get up when everyone else is sleeping.
Maybe it was an angry solider on a podcast who swears by it or a fitness guru who is desperately trying to live a life better than you.
But, what are some of the most important things you need to do if and when you decide to get up at 5am?

1: Go Back To F*cking Bed
Sleep deprivation is not the magical key to success some people think it is.
Honestly, you won't function well at this time of the day. Although you might have heard someone shouting on a podcast about getting up at stupid o'clock in the morning, don't.
You won't achieve anything exhausted. You won't be creative while feeling like you're about to board an early morning red eye flight.
If for some reason you think the missing key to your life is a 5am start, realise it's not. A day starting at 5am means you'll be in bed by 8pm. How pathetic.
Go back to bed.
2: Reevaluate why you thought this was a good idea
Sleep deprivation is a form of torture used in places like Guantanamo Bay. Why in the name of christ would you do that to yourself?
Have a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why you thought it was a good idea to starve yourself of sleep? Do you hate yourself that much?
Doesn't matter if it's a fitness blogger, side hustle head wrecker or Jocko Willink. You need more sleep not less.
And maybe you were getting up early to meditate, which is just a crappier version of sleep anyway. It's a terrible idea.
3: Fall Asleep and Never Do This Again. Ever.
There really is just no need at all. You can't get anything done exhausted.
